Tapas Route
A select choice of typical tapas bars in the desired towns and cities aims to present the Andalusian way of life through tapas and through picturesque spots, charming neighbourhoods and local people, tasting an excellent variety of these small dishes and avoiding modern or excessively tourist-oriented places.
Price: 60 Euros per person | Group of minimum: 30 persons
Visit to Bodegas Góngora
The group is received and welcomed with a historical, technical and cultural talk on the Aljarafe area and its many connotations.
The next stop is the 1.126 wine cellar, with an explanation of how the wines are made, particularly the Fino wines made by the criaderas y soleras system of dynamic ageing.
The 16th century Lagar or pressing room contains the Viga de Husillo y Quintal, a screw press operated by a huge lever. It dates back to 1574 and the Regional Government of Andalusia has declared it an Asset of Cultural Interest classed as a Monument.
The visit includes a tasting of four different wines: Fino Pata de Hierro, Amontillado Muy Viejo Góngora (with 25 years of ageing), Solera 1.840 (Medium) and a sweet Pedro Ximénez, and snacks.
Price: 50 Euros per person | Group of minimum: 50 persons
