The organisers invite researchers from universities and specialist research centres to take part in the Congress and submit abstract proposals relevant to the topic fields within the general theme of the event and the following:
1. Innovations and innovation systems of the public, social and cooperative economy
2. New governance models
3. New products and services in response to the needs of society
4. Protecting the environment and sustainable development
5. New partnerships to provide local services
6. New assessment models (corporate social responsibility, etc.)
7. Social and health services
8. Networks and infrastructure
9. New production processes and sustainable development
10. New types of relationship between the State and the Social Economy and new public policies.
Abstracts
The abstracts should be between 250 and 400 words long and include a bibliography. They may be written in English, French, German or Spanish.
The proposals for presentations should be sent on the form that may be found on the following webpage: http://www.congresociriec.es/en/comunicaciones_envio.
They should also be sent as an attachment to info@congresociriec.es, with a copy to chavesr@uv.es. The subject line that should read "CIRIEC 2008 – ABS – Name of author", e.g. CIRIEC 2008 – ABS – Benoît Lévesque. If the authors do not wish their paper to be published on the Congress website they should state so.
Accepted papers
The list of accepted papers will be published on the Congress website on 2 April 2008.
Presentation of the papers at the Congress
The accepted papers will be presented in poster format.
Sending full texts
The deadline for sending the full text of the paper for publication is 15 June 2008. Publication of papers received after this date cannot be guaranteed. Poster presentations will not be accepted unless the researchers have completed the registration process.
Grants
University and specialised research centre researchers whose presentation has been accepted and who wish to apply for a grant for the Congress in addition to the discounted registration rate should apply to secretaria@congresociriec.es during April 2008, indicating "CIRIEC 2008 – BECA – Name of Author" in the subject line.
Registration
All Congress participants must register. Researchers whose poster presentations are accepted by the scientific committee of the Congress will enjoy a significant discount on the registration fee.
Registration must be made through the Congress website or by contacting the FUNDATOURS agency directly.
Official languages of the Congress
The official languages of the Congress are English, French, German and Spanish.
